To the Glory of God, the Chief Shepherd of The Anglican Diocese of Ogbaru, The Rt. Rev’d Prosper A. Amah (JP) ordained 6 deacons and collated 2 archdeacons on Sunday 5th December, 2021 at The Basilica of St. James the Great Cathedral, Atani. It was a glorious moment in the Lord’s presence as the gospel light carriers received fresh and new mandates in the order for the upward call of God within the Diocese.

The retreatant and service preacher, the Rt. Rev’d Precious Okechukwu Nwala (JP), Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Etche, on the THEME: MINISTERS OF PROVEN FAITHFULNESS, charged all and sundry to remain faithful stewards in the Lord’s vineyard and wherever one finds oneself. In his sermon, he emphasized that faithfulness to God and in His service does not only involve what one does within the Church during fellowships but also the life of one outside the church. Hence, a minister whose faithfulness is proven is one whose stewardship counts both in time and in eternity.

He therefore reminded all in attendance that living for God connotes living for Him “Whenever and wherever”. It is neither time bound nor location dependent. He further called to mind that Christians are called to be lights in the world, particularly in this age that celebrates darkness.

He equally made it noteworthy that God is on the look-out for faithful stewards – for He is a rewarder of faithfulness and not just vacillators in His Divine biddings.
